Anna Derr

Mrs. Anna Mae Jones Derr, 73, of 314 St. Paul St., Boonsboro, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.

She was the wife of Junior Woodrow Derr, who died Jan. 31, 1980.

Born Oct. 25, 1929, in Boonsboro, she was the daughter of the late Otho Martred and Grace Naomi Huffer Jones.

She had retired from Londontown Manufacturing in Boonsboro after 20 years of service.

She was a member of Church of God.

She was a member of Clopper-Michael American Legion Post 10 Ladies Auxiliary, Boonsboro.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane L. Flook and Darlo Ann Derr, both of Boonsboro; one son, Ricky W. Derr of Keedysville; four sisters, Thelma Duffey of Boonsboro, Janice Kramer of Hollywood, Fla., Selvia Jean Gouker of Middletown, and Barbara Reeder of Arlington, Va.; one brother, Alvey Jones of Smithsburg; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 8, at the funeral home with the Rev. Patricia Drake officiating.

Interment will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
