Mrs. Jacqueline Edith Klipp, age 65 of Middletown passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife for 40 years of Kenneth Wayne Klipp. Born on February 21, 1952 in New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Drayton Elmer and Mary Angelus (Krohn) Ledden who lived in Hagerstown.
Mrs. Klipp worked at Londontowne in Boonesboro as a So Bar Operator. She later moved on to Hartz & Co. in Frederick in a supervisory job and lastly worked at the Walmart Pharmacies filling orders. She retired in April of 2015. She also was the owner and president of MAK Services LLC. In her free time she loved quilting and cross stitching and spending time in Williamsburg, VA.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Klipp is also survived by her daughter, Dawn Marie Wiles and husband Robert of Big Pool, MD, her son Mark Alan Klipp and wife Joyce of Middletown, MD, her stepson Kenneth W. Klipp, Jr. and wife Lori of Wolfsville, MD, her six grandchildren: Lacey Klipp, Jacob Klipp, Jeremy Klipp, Kenneth W. Klipp, III, Kelly Klipp, and Charles Klipp, one brother Walter C. Ledden and wife Diane of Boonsboro and many nieces and nephews. Jackie is preceded in death by her two sisters Barbara J. Raidt and Dray Wasilius of Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick were services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 10 AM. The interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Contributions may be made in Jackie's name to the James M. Stockman Cancer Institute.
