I worked with Gale Pishko for years at McLaren Oakland. Gale was one of my favorite people. He always had a smile on his face. He was kind and gentle and a class act. We often talked about vacations and cruises and fun times outside of work. He always had a big smile on his face when he talked about his family. At his retirement party in March 2019, he said that he was really looking forward to retired life in Ohio. He was very proud of his wife and her new job. I told him that we were really going to miss him and that our nickname for him was the "silver fox". He responded with typical Gale grace and humor - with a smile and a chuckle and a self deprecating shake of his head. Gale, you are a class act. You will be missed. My deepest condolences to your wonderful family.

My deepest condolences to the Pishko family. Gale and I worked together for many years at Doctors Hospital and again at McLaren Oakland. He was always my go to person for supplies and equipment, and taught me how to interpret contracts. It was great to work with him. He will be missed. May God comfort you and your family during this time of great loss.

Gale was one of my best friend for over 30 years - golf partner in the summer and bowling partner in the winter for almost just as long. He was the kind of guy who would offer help you out - you didn't have to ask. I'm so very sorry Jennifer, Nick, Bob and Elizabeth.
He will be sorely missed - RIP my friend!

So sad to hear of Gale's passing. What a great co-worker and better friend. Many days working at DMC, even though it didn't seem like work. We all all had a great time, softball, fishing trips, Tiger games. I was fortunate to have know such a wonderful man. God bless you Mr. Pishko.

Gale was always a great lead off golfer in all of our golf outings and scrambles. He made the most money for us with his putting. Especially the 50 footer at Greystone that had to go off the green then back on to get to the hole, and Gale drained it!! Steve Hunt stood there speechless holding the flag! Outside of golf, I always smile when I think of him trying to find me for a little liquid courage before giving his speech at Nick and Jenn's wedding. He and I keeping each other company as the young heavy rollers at bowling stress out over winning jackpots. Many fun times and even more smiles I've had thanks to Gale. Even a 60 birthday celebration at the Hamlin pub. He will be miss and Thank you for all the fond memories. Gale, Please continue to watch over us, direct us, and keep us safe.
God be with you,
Barry Larsen
