Arthur Ward Longueville passed away on April 29, 2018, in Fresno, CA. Ward, as he was best known, was born in Walnut Creek, CA, to Arthur and Kathryn Longueville on October 1, 1932. He graduated from Fresno High School, and California State University, Fresno, and earned his Masters of Art degree in Special Education from California State University, San Francisco. He married Annie Zulim in 1955, and together they raised three children. Ward loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and hiking. Ward is survived by his daughter, Sharon Mathews; his son, Arthur Ward Longueville III; his daughter, Jayne Zanarini; his grandson, Joshua Dunning; his great-granddaughter, Harlow Mae Dunning; and his sister, Carol Stubblefield. His family would like to thank his many friends who generously gave their time; it meant so much to him. A special thanks to his caregivers who went above and beyond in keeping him comfortable and positive in his final months. Ward requested that no services be held, and we are honoring his wish.
