Buss Helm was born in Fresno, CA, on November 14, 1939, to Oscar and Trudi Helm, and passed away at home in Madera, CA on Monday, August 6, 2018. Buss owned and operated Viking Bee Keeping and also worked for the County of Fresno Agriculture Department for 30 years. He enjoyed his ranch and the various sheep, horses, cows, goats, roosters, and his faithful bird dogs. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and also enjoyed sailing with his family. Buss is survived by his loving shepherdess wife, Kathleen "Katy" Helm; sister, Joan Falk; and a large extended family of sisters-in-laws; brothers-in-laws; nieces; nephews; cousins; and his puppy Spitzer. Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Wagner Cemetery, 20085 Road 211, Friant, CA, on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow.
