I was Williams insurance agent for many years...and i did have the pleasure to visit his home "shop", and was truly amazed at the artistry he shared with me!....Plus some amazing smoked fish that he had caught!....Great man!

We really loved William and he touched our lives for many years. He came to our nursery to buy plants, especially his favorites Japanese Maples, and to show and sell his fabulous chairs and some small tables at our fall festival. We were fortunate enough to be able to get a beautiful sycamore rocking chair that we will cherish the rest of our lives. Our daughters used the chair for each one of our three grandchildren and it is always the seat of honor in our home to any visitor. William was always a joy to be around for us. We visited and helped around the place some and marveled at his wonderful shop. We went to visit his mountain property and dreamed with him about what he might do someday there. We will miss William very much and are so glad our mutual friend, Penelope, introduced us years ago with the comment, 'here is someone you really need to know' and boy was she right. We have been blessed to know him in this life.
