Doris Jane Pedigo, 75, of Frankfort, died July 19, 2021 at her home. She was born May 5, 1946 in Kokomo to Samuel Lynzo Latham Lawson and Catherine (Lane) Lawson. She married Samuel Pedigo on June 7, 1964 at the First Baptist Church, and he survives.

Doris was a 1964 graduate of Clinton Central High School. She was a homemaker and had worked at the Camera Shop. She was a member of the Maranatha Christian Church in Howard County. Doris enjoyed camping, spending winters in Arizona, looking up her family's ancestry and spending time with family, especially during holidays.

In addition to her husband, Doris is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Nathan) Osborne of Aberdeen, Ohio and Tina Pedigo of Frankfort; a son, Scott (Karen) Pedigo of Rossville; two sisters, Lucille Carney of Lebanon and Ida Ray of Frankfort; a brother, Ivan Ray (Evelyn) Lawson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry Lawson, Latham Lawson and Willis Jr. Lawson.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Family graveside service will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
