Itsuo Tadehara, 86, of Brighton, passed away Dec. 23. He was born on September 2, 1932, in Murray, Utah, to Toranosuke and Masami (Hashimoto) Tadehara. Itsuo attended schools in Murray, Utah, and married Musako Kobayashi.
At the age of 23, Itsuo enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict, receiving his Korean service medal. He worked for the Army Corps of Engineers, finishing his service career in Fort Polk and Fort Hood.
Itsuo was a Brighton resident for 45 years and worked for Tagawa Farms for 38 of those years, retiring in 2016.
Survivors include a stepdaughter; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many grand nieces and nephews.
As per the wishes of Its, there will be no services. In memory of Its, contributions may be made to the .
