Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Margaret "Big Mom" Wilson Sexton, 88, of Hokes Bluff. Mrs. Sexton passed away March 12, 2018. The Rev. Mike Yates and the Rev. Gary Hare will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hokes Bluff Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home & Cemetery is in charge.
Margaret was a member of Bachelor's Chapel Baptist Church and later Ford's Valley Baptist Church. She was the owner and seamstress of 278 Jean Shop and owner of M & M Discount. She loved sewing and her church family. Her family was her pride and joy. She dedicated her life to loving and providing for them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, AJ "Dude" Sexton; son, David Sexton; daughter, Bobbi Grace; and brother, Jerome Wilson.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald Sexton of LaGrange, KY, Lacy Sexton of Hokes Bluff; daughter, Lisa Abel of Hokes Bluff; granddaughters, Leanne Mackey, April Sexton, Brooke (David) Morrow, and Amber Giesecke; grandsons, Lacy (Suzi) Sexton Jr., and Justin Sexton; great-grandchildren, Colton Grace, Logan Sexton, Caitlin Morrow, Drew Smith, Taylor Smith, Logan Smith, Arabella Giesecke, Rhys Giesecke, and Karsten Smith; special friend, Dona Sexton.
Pallbearers will be AJ Sexton, Lacy Sexton Jr., Logan Sexton, Logan Smith, Taylor Smith and Colton Grace.
Special thanks to Camilla Hospice, Cherokee County Healthcare, and Station One 500 Hall.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
