We accept obituaries from funeral homes, crematoriums and family members, with proper verification of death (death certificate). All paid obituaries are posted online through our partnership with Legacy.com, for a period of one year with a guestbook.
Please keep in mind all obituaries need to be turned in and approved/paid for by 2pm EST for a next day run during the week - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Weekend deadlines are as follows:
For a Sunday run the obituary must be turned in and approved/paid for by 1:30pm EST on Saturday.
For a Monday run the obituary must be turned in and approved/paid for by 3pm EST on Saturday.
The office is closed on Sunday and on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We accept obituaries via email at

All obituaries have a base price of $98.82 for the first 27 lines (4--6 six words per line) of text, with a $3.66 charge for every line over the first initial 27 lines. An additional charge of $40 will be added for a photo.
