Glenda Kirby Obituary

Glenda Rue Kerby, 78, a former Gainesville, Georgia resident, passed away on January 31, 2021 following a sudden illness.
She was born August 28, 1942 in Gainesville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Paul Johnson and Irene (Hulsey) Johnson.
Glenda was an artist at heart composing numerous songs and poems. Her interests included playing the piano, singing, serving God and her family. She was a fierce prayer warrior, loving mother and grandmother as well as the family comedienne.
She is survived by her three children, Derek Kerby, Jamie Kerby and Elizabeth Wilmont as well as her many grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, February 5, 2021 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel.
Memorial Park Funeral Home North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Dr. is in charge of arrangements.
