BERNFELD, Sybil Susan (nee Klions). In her seventy-eighth year, on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Loving mother of Gary (Carol) of Kingston, Ontario, and Wendy (Eelke) of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Dear grandmother of Chris Joyce (Shona), Lisa and Katie Bernfeld; Erik and Jesper Westra. Proud great-grandmother of Madison, Tatum and Kennedy Joyce. Loving sister of Herb (Peggy) of Meadville, PA. Beloved aunt of Howard (Peggy), Ken (Lisa) and Doug (Christine), and great-aunt of eight. Dear cousin of Alan Bernfeld (Anne). Dear niece, aunt and sister-in-law to extended family including Jean Finestone and Norma Field. Dear longtime friend of Sylvia Klein, Marcia Shulman, and the gals including Phyllis and Freda and so very many others. Predeceased by her cherished father Sam, mother Minnie, granddaughter Cathy Joyce, ex-husband Edward, and many of her dear friends as well. Special thanks to caring staff and caregivers at the JGH, where Sybil worked for 30+ years. Sybil will also be greatly missed, by her email pals, her exercise class buddies, her fellow bus trip explorers and many others. Syb was a person who so loved life and lived it to the fullest always ready to enjoy a good meal, a jump in the lake, a movie, or a naughty joke!
