Shirley Chaim

CHAIM, Shirley (nee Aslatei). On Thursday, February 14, 2008. Wife of the late Marcel. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Clara and the late Elliot Sheftman, Judi and the late Sam Chaim. Cherished Bubby of Randi and Mitchell Litwin, Lee Sheftman, Matthew and Kevin Chaim. Adored great-grandmother of Justin, Michael, Ryan, Jordan, Jake and Hallie. Predeceased by her brothers. Shirley will be sadly missed by Jill Kessner, family and friends. Special thanks to Doreen and the staff of 5th floor Kastner Pavilion, Jewish Eldercare Centre for their care and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, February 17 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 1 Wood Ave. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
