Dear Myra, Si, Elissa, Sheldon, Joanne's Daughters and Lehrer Family: It is with great difficulty that I compose a note that will comfort you. Strength will sustain you and hopefully fond memories shall bring you peace. Years have passed since she was a child playing in my house. Presently I share your pain . Forgive my absence as I still cannot attend funerals or a shiva house since my husband's passing in October.

I am deeply saddened by everyone's loss. I was fortunate enough to work with Joanne and to volunteer with her. I learned so much from her.
Joanne and her family always opened their door and their hearts to us. I always felt welcome and accepted by them.
I will always remember Joanne as a go-getter with a sunny disposition and a kind word for everyone.
May she finally be at peace now.

My deepest condolences to Ronnie and his family and to the Rappaport family.
I was saddened to hear of Joanne's passing, growing up together in USY and at the Shaar Shalom were wonderful times.
We spent many Friday nights "harassing" Rabbi Hoffman and dancing and singing our hearts out.

My sincerest condolences go out to you and your family at such a tragic time. I have wonderful memories of Joanne going all the way back to Crestview days. It seemed like just yesterday we were both laughing and reminiscing on the phone right before the Western Laval 25th reunion that was planned in 2003. She was so happy that I called her... time goes by too quickly. I am truly sorry for your loss and pain.

I am truly sorry that I am not there at this time. Plese find it in your hearts to forgiveme. Let no person ever doubt the love I ever had for my sister Joanne.
