SHAFFER LEMCOVITCH, Beatrice (nee Zwiegman). Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, in her eighty-sixth year. Beloved wife of the late Sol Shaffer and the late Joe Lemcovitch. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Mark and Sandi Lemcovitch. Cherished grandmother of Jamie and Alissa, David and Jody. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Moe and the late Ettie Zwiegman, and sister-in-law of Frank and Eva Shaffer, Ann Shaffer, and predeceased by her other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Cherrie Abraham and the doctors and nurses of the C.C.U. at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. Burial at the King Edward Benefit Section, Back River memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva private from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Vascular Department c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
