BINDER, Japha (nee Sheindel Melamed). Peacefully, on Thursday, December 25, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Abraham. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Sandee, and Sarah Binder. Cherished Supta of Tammy and Craig, Kelly and Roger, Jamie and Ann, and Rebecca. Proud great grandmother of Kayla, Tessa, Ariel and Anika. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Jack and Sharon Melmed. Predeceased by her parents and other siblings who perished in the Holocaust. The family would like to thank the staff of the CCU at the St. Marys Hospital for their care and compassion. Special thanks to her companions Sharon Abrenica and Yvette Gapangada for their loving care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, December 26 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
