HOCKENSTEIN, Irwin (Hocky). Peacefully, in his ninety-fifth year, with his family by his side, on Thursday, January 29, 2009. Loving and caring husband of Rhoda Glazer and the late Gerry. Beloved father of Ernie, Beverlee and the late Patti, Brian and Joyce, Ann and Bob, and Stewart. Loving grandfather of Tammy, Barry and Valerie; Selina and Paul; Kyle and Stacey; Philip, Sarah and Adam, and; Tara. Loving great-grandfather of Maxwell and Jack. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Moe and Marguerite Rudner (the late Esther), Rose and the late Harry, Oscar and Sandra Greenberg, the late Ben, the late Hymie and Lil, and the late Israel and Sarah Hockenstein, the late Percy Greenberg. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff of the C.C.U. of the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 1, at 1:00 pm. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri.
