GOODIN, Ruth (nee Friedman) On Sunday, March 1, 2009, in her eighty-sixth year. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Extraordinary mother and mother-in-law and friend of Tina and Jeff, Gerry and Hedy, Steven and Elaine. Adored Grandma of Darren and Gail, Allison and Jason, Matthew and Suzanne, Tara, and Jessica. Proud great-grandmother of Alec and Noah. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Rose and the late Harold Cohen, Shirley and the late Hymie Friedman, the late Bertha and the late Mac Simcoe, the late Shirley and the late Myer Koffler, sister-in-law of Naomi and Harry Karpman. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to her exceptional caregivers Vera, Elaine, Thelma and Ruby. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, March 4 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva at Ruth's home through Friday afternoon, continuing in Florida.
