Fanny Goldner

GOLDNER, Fanny (nee Feige Sima Bassior) With great sadness, our family announces the passing of our matriarch, Fanny, at age ninety-three, on Saturday, June 20, 2009. Wife of the late Peter. Beloved mother of Toby Shulman. Devoted Granny of Allen and Isabelle, and Randi. Proud great grandmother of Michaela and Gabrielle. Special mother-in-law of Ruby Shulman. Sister and sister-in-law of Sari and the late Herbie Silver, Anne and Allan Yentin, the late Lou and the late Mollie Bassior, the late Rose and the late Bill Kalmanasch, and predeceased by Ruth and Harold Goldner, Cecile and Albert Jeffay, Claudia and Lenny Rosenblatt, Richard and Helen Goldner, David, Aaron and Shirley Goldner. Loving aunt, great-aunt and great great-aunt to her many nieces and nephews, good friend and neighbour. Many thanks to her companions, Terry, Janet and Kisha, and the compassionate staff of 3 South at Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, June 22 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Kind Edward Benefit Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva at her daughter's residence.
