Dear Family of the late Fanny Goldner,
My deepest sympathy to you. I remember Fanny as a sweet, caring woman who worked so hard for the Quebec Heart Foundation. My late Mother Annette Berlin was a member of the Heart Foundation and she worked with many others, including Fanny, to raise funds for that charity. As a child, I used to stand in front of Steinberg's on Queen Mary Road and hold a can to collect money and Fanny had a hand in arranging that. As well, Fanny used to arrange the route for my involvement in collection money in a tin can during the evening from various bowling alleys in the city. This took place in the 1960's. I had the pleasure of attending a number of awards banquets where Fanny would hand out awards to the highest fund raisers.
Fanny will be missed by many. May God grant you the strength to deal with your loss.
