GREEN, Berta (nee Rosenblum) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Berta Green, on Saturday, July 25, 2009. Dear wife of the late Samuel. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Gabby (Arlene), and Ann. Cherished Bubbie of Adam (Geraldine), Evan (Alicia), Eric, Jamie, and alter-Bubbie of Ella. She had survived her numerous sisters, brothers and their spouses, many of whom perished in the Holocaust. She was the last of her familys generation and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to her exceptional caregivers Magda, Mary and Florenda, as well as the nurses and the 3rd floor staff of Maimonides. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, July 26 at 4 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva to be announced.
