TAWFIK, Nessim After a brief illness, on Monday, August 3, 2009. Beloved husband of Ida Shohet. Devoted father and father-in-law of Myra Tawfik and Ian Coffin of Windsor, Ontario, and Richard Tawfik. Loving son-in-law of Najia Shohet. Dear brother-in-law and brother of Gabrielle and the late David Tawfik, and brother-in-law of Morrie and Noelle Shohet. Cherished uncle of Jessica Tawfik and Jason Hill, Vivianne Tawfik and Ian Bodley, Andrea Tawfik and David Nayer; Lara Shohet and fiance Bert Clark, Tegan Shohet. Sadly mourned by Meredith and Gaelan Coffin. Special thanks to doctors David Mulder, Melina Vassiliou, Patricia Zanelli and Louay Mardini, and the nurses and staff of the ICU and 15th floor at the Montreal General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, August 6 at 12 noon. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
