AUERBACH, Esther (nee Ness) Peacefully, in her one-hundredth year, on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Isadore. Dear daughter of the late Robert and the late Rachel Ness. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Robert and Soula, Munroe and Diana, Beverley and Bart Lynn. Loving grandmother of Ted Cohen, Jonathan and Dana, Robert Jr., Mark and Elaine, and Bradley Auerbach; David and Amy, Sam and Joshua Auerbach; Brett, Berit and Brock Lynn. Proud great-grandmother of Ethan, Kevin, Haley, Rowen and David. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Mary and Harry Ralph, Yetta and David Greenspon, Herzelle and Ben Cohen, Hyman and Anna Ness. She will be sadly mourned by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Jewish Hospital of Hope for their loving care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, October 30 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom Congregation Section, Mount Royal Cemetery, 1297 ch. de la Foret, Outremont. Shiva private, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. daily.
