SLAKMON, Elie In his ninety-sixth year, on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Beloved husband of Suzie Benainous for seventy years. Devoted father of Jean Pierre, Alain, Michel and Chantal, and father-in-law of Diane, Maude, Russell and the late Yette. Cherished "Papi Lili" of Philippe, Marc, Benjamin, Alexandre and Sebastien; Cybele, Catherine and Elliott; Magali; Joe and Andrew. Loving great-grandfather of Scott, Dylan and Kimberly; Emma, Lucie and Jedd; Simon, Tristan and Matthias. Dear brother of Jeannette Taieb, Maurice, the late Henriette Uzan, the late Gaston and the late Roger, and brother-in-law of Mireille Slakmon and Gabriel Benainous. Sadly mourned by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Samuel Aronson of the Jewish General Hospital.
