BISMUTH, Myriam (nee Abitbol) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myriam Bismuth on Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty-eight years, Edmond "Papie", and daughter, Yette. She will be profoundly missed by her adored son, Claude Clement, devoted daughter-in-law, Colleen, and son-in-law, Jean-Pierre Slakmon. She also leaves behind her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Philippe (Marla) and their children, Scott, Dylan and Kimberly; Marc (Marinka) and their children, Emma, Lucie and Jedd; Stephane (Natalie) and their children, Brianna and Evelyne; Sylvie (David) and her step-son, Jacob; Anne Marie (Edward); and her cherished nephew, Claude Benmussa (Claude Patenaude), his son, Paul (Isabelle), and Stella Joseph. She will be greatly missed by her family in Europe, including her sister, Marcelle, as well as her nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to express its sincere appreciation to those who provided "Mamie" with such wonderful care over the years: Donna, Novelette and Brad, and more recently Luz, Jeana and the nursing staff at the Jewish General and Mount Sinai Hospitals. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
