Clarice was a neighbor of mine many years ago (you may have heard about our Rental Board crusades), but I had not been in touch with her since she moved from the building. A mutual friend/crusader told me of your loss. I remember Clarice well as a principled, kind person. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Dear Elizabeth and Annalise,
I was so sorry to read of the loss of your mom who was my cousin. Although I had not seen her for many years I still thought of her. She was a warm and loving person who was so proud of her two daughters and I know you will miss her very much.
