BLAU, Beulah (nee Pap) Sadly on Monday, August 2, 2010, in her ninety-third year. Beloved wife of the late Samuel (Sonny) for sixty-three years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Dianne Blau, Marlene and Abie Haupt. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Sister and sister-in-law of Sam and Mamie Pap. Predeceased by her sisters and brother-in-law, Goldie and Sam Lerner, and Rose Pap. A very dear friend to Ida Lewis and family. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, August 4 at 12 noon. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Kehal Yeshurin Section, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter's residence from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. through Thursday evening, August 5. Donations in her memory may be made to the "Samuel and Beulah Blau Insulin Fund" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.

I know my father was very sad to hear the news - they were so close as brother and sister. She was always a devoted aunt to me, and I have fond memories of her through the years.
