COHEN, Harry. On Friday, July 8, 2005, with his family by his side, beloved husband and best friend of Bebe Kirsch. Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of Alan, Randy and Rickie, and Brian. Cherished grandfather of Jason (Irit), Lauren, Stephen (Valerie) and Jamie. Brother and brother-in-law of Ettie and Israel Shragie, brother-in-law of Normie and Sara Kirsch. He will be fondly remembered by Carol Cohen, his many nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Special thanks to Dr. Gyger and staff of the Jewish General Hospital and to the staff and volunteers of Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral services from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W., on Sunday, July 10, at 3:30 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, De la Savanne. Shiva private. Contributions in his memory may be made to Sun Youth, c/o "The Harry Cohen Trumpet of Love Memorial Foundation" (514) 842-6822 or to Na'amat (514) 484-0252.

Dear Bebe-I heard about Harry's passing and I send profound condolences to you and your family. I have fond memories of Harry - especially the years we did the Variety Gang together. Harry was a very special man and I am glad to have been a small part of his life.

Our thoughts are with you. We have so many wonderful memories of Harry, especially regarding the Canadian Club. He always knew the right thing to do, and did it.We will always remember his shows, his willingness to help out anywhere there was a need. We live far away, but our hearts are with you at this time. My love and condolences to the family, I miss you all...I have many fond memories of my dear Uncle Harry, may he rest in peace. Oom pah pah...although I am 42 now, I cherish the memories of his taking us swimming and playing games with us when we were very young. I love you, you will never be forgotten.
