I opened the Gazette yesterday, on line from Israel. I was saddened to see that Pauline Ravvin had passed away....even though she reached 100, I was sure she had a few more years.
I have known her son Leon since we we.re 7 years old,and his mother always played an important part of his life...always there for him, always proud of his achievements, and was truly " A Yiddisha Momma"
My sympathies to the entire family.

The last of a great generation of Mendelsohn siblings, she was a delightful, spirited and loving aunt to Rosalie Mendenlsohn Leib and great aunt to Rebecca, Steven and Brenden Leib. Her presence will be missed and her memory will endure. The Leibs
