WASSER, Claire (nee Wittenberg) Peacefully, on Sunday, October 3, 2010. Devoted wife of the late Jack (Kopel) Wasser z"l, and loving mother and mother-in-law of Esther and Michael Deitcher, Sander and Nellie Wasser, and Edward and Devra Wasser. Extremely proud grandmother of Jordan Deitcher, Rachelle and Jonathan Wyse, Talia, Oren, Melanie and Alex. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Bessie and Joe Batist, Robert and Milly Wittenberg, Anne and Dave Goldstein, and Fraida Wittenberg. Sister-in-law of Helen and the late Jack Silberstein, and Nathan and Shirley Wasser. Special aunt of many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Jewish General Hospital and Maimonides 6S, her caregivers, Osheyan, Jillian, Sandra and Junie, and all the family and friends who visited so devotedly. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, October 4 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva at her son's home. Donations can be made to the "Claire and Jack Wasser Memorial Fund" for TBDJ Youth Programs, (514) 489-3841.

Nothing but good memories from our days on Hudson Avenue in Montreal West. Claire was a good and gentle person who had great love for her family and always a good word for her neighbours.
