GREEN, Samuel. We sadly announce the passing of Samuel Green, a survivor of the Holocaust on Monday, July 18, 2005. Beloved husband of Bertha Rosenblum. Cherished father and father-in-law of Gabby and Arlene, Ann Green and Sam Abrams. Doting and loving Zaidie of Adam (Geraldine), Evan (fiancee Alicia); Eric and Jamie. Predeceased by his sister Yanka in Israel, his brother Monyak in Poland and sisters and brothers-in-laws as well as family that perished in the Holocaust. The family wishes to thank his caregiver Felicia as well as the nurses of 8NW at the Jewish General Hospital who were with him during his last few weeks. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Thursday, July 21 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his residence at the Castel Royale. Donations in his memory may be made to "The Samuel Green Memorial Fund", c/o Jewish General Hospital Foundation, 514-340-8251. He will live forever in our hearts through his grandchildren and generations to come.
