POSEL, Bernard. Peacefully, after a long and brave struggle, on Thursday, August 4, 2005. Devoted and loving husband of Sue (Cecile) for fifty-six years. Proud father and father-in-law of Nancy and David Rosenzveig, Irwin and Lucia (Fabijan) Posel, David Posel and Robert Thouin. Cherished grandfather of Erin and Alicia Rosenzveig; Courtney, and Joey Posel. Son of the late Alter and the late Esther Posel. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Rita Vosberg and the late Ted Rudner and the late Irving Vosberg. Jack and Rita (Toby) Posel. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Rudy Brenner, Dr. Anne-Marie Lafontaine, Jordan, David Rosenbaum, the Department of Veteran's Affairs, and the CLSC Rene Cassin for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, August 7 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Shiva private. Donations in his memory may be made to the Montreal Neurological Institute Movement Disorder Clinic, (514) 398-1958.

Dear Sue and family,

Its been so many years since we've seen you and Bernie, but memories are a wonderful thing.

Bernie was a very special man and I adored him and remember him so well.......Morris and I were very saddened to hear about his passing. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Dear Irwin, Lucia, Courtney and Joey,

Please accept our deepest sympathies. Your father, father-in-law, grandfather fought a courageous battle indeed. We admire all of you for the constant love and support you offered him both when he was in good health and even more in recent years when his health failed him.
