SEGAL, Miriam (nee Sokoloff) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, January 9, 2011. Beloved wife of David for seventy years. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Jason Segal, Helena and Marvin Minkoff. Cherished Grandma of Ian, Bryan and Serena; Heidi and Adam, Lawrence and Alana, and Shanna. Proud great-grandmother of Matthew and Jordan Minkoff. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sunny and the late Jerry Rubin, the late Sam and the late Sarah Sokoloff, and sister-in-law of Sarah and the late Ben Marcus, Naomi and the late Jack Segal, the late Irving and the late Bryna Segal. Miriam will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, January 12 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter's home.
