BECK, Sarah (nee Sadovnick) Peacefully, in her ninety-second year, on Thursday, January 20, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Morris. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gary and Bluma, Marcia and Alan Kleiman, the late Allan Weigensberg, Harvey and Leslie, Linda and Jeffrey Sidel. Cherished Bubby of Brandon and Alana Beck; Benjamin, Eric and Johanna Weigensberg; Rachel, Aaron, Jake, and Adam Beck; David, Brian and Jonathan Sidel. Proud great-grandmother of Matthew Weigensberg. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Helen Spungin, the late Jack Sadovnick, the late Manny Sadovnick, the late Jack and the late Ida Katz. Sarah will be sadly missed by her niece, nephew, family and all those whose lives she touched. Special thanks to Lourdes for her exceptional care and devotion, and to the staff of Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 23 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Linda's home. Donations in her memory may be made to Maimonides Foundation, (514) 483-2121, ext. 2207, or to the "Morris and Sarah Beck Memorial Fund", c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.

Dear Family,
Sarah was my dear aunt who contributed so much in so many ways to our family. She had a very close relationship with my mother Ida and father, Jack and especially with my grandparents, Anna and Louis. She taught me how to knit. We had many memorable times with Sarah and Morris. We all loved her and will miss her. My deepest sympathy go out to Gary, Marcia, Harvey, and Linda and their families. Love, Cousin Sandy

I am going to miss Sarah very much. She will always hold a special place in my heart and I will always cherish the fond memories I have of her and Morris - especially when I used to frequent her home as a teenager. May God bless her dear soul!
