KAHN, Zave With dignity, on Monday, May 2, 2011, after a courageous fight. Devoted and loving husband of Arline Ram for fifty-eight years. Cherished father of Steven Kahn and Lori Kahn. Proud and adoring "Papa" of Elyse, and Richard Berenbaum. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Miriam and the late Jack Pleet, Asher and Lorna Kahn. Brother-in-law and friend of Jerry and Mildred Ram, and brother-in-law of Billy and Helaine Ram. Zave will be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and many dear friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, May 5 at 12 noon. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva at his daughter Lori's home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Contributions in Zave's memory may be made to the Hope & Cope Fund c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251. He loved people, loved to laugh, loved music, and will be sorely missed.
