MENDELSON, Edward M. Peacefully at home, on Thursday, May 5, 2011. Beloved husband of Madeline for sixty-six years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Esta and Henry Skoburn (Albany, NY), Morton and Beverley, and Roslyn and David Hodgins (Calgary, AB). Devoted Zaidie of Heather and Greg, Kara and Jeff; Simon and Alice, Asher, and Dana; Anna and Zoe. Cherished great-grandfather of Abe and Millie; Alexandra and Marnie; Emet, Kol Dov, and Baila. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Claire and Milton Friefeld, Jack and Lola Mendelson, the late Sarah and the late Morton Korenberg, the late Hyman and the late Gertrude Mendelson, and brother-in-law of the late Sidney and the late Madeleine Levine, the late Shirley and the late David Slopack. Eddie will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and by all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, May 8 at 12 noon. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yehuda Section, de la Savane.
