Fay Goldberg

GOLDBERG, Fay (nee Goresky) Peacefully, in her ninety-sixth year, on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Moe. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Peggy and Ron Garonce, the late Henry Goldberg. Cherished "Bubby Ma" of Gwenn, Adam and Sharon, Ryan, and Bradley Garonce; Sean Goldberg; Lisa and Jeff Zerafa. Proud great-grandmother of Moishe, Jonah and Shiloh Garonce. Predeceased by her brothers, Irving and Harry (the late Dora), and her sisters, Lottie (the late Morris), Sarah (the late Joe) and Edith (Louis). Sister-in-law of Esther and the late Frank Rabinovitch, Iggy and Rhona Goldberg. Fay will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and all of those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 6N at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, June 17 at 11 a.m. Burial at the King Edward Benefit Association Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva at Peggy's home.
