Pearl Mantell

MANTELL, Pearl It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear aunt and friend, Pearl Mantell, on Wednesday June 29, 2011. Daughter of the late Shloime and the late Bracha Mantell of Ste. Agathe. Dear sister of the late Esther Deitcher, the late Sonia Fink, the late Joe, the late Nat and the late Cecil Mantell. Aunt of the late Stan Fink and of her very beloved nephew, the late Nat Deitcher. Pearl was a vigorous person who loved life. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Sylvia Bordan, Joe Deitcher of Toronto, Marion Waterston, Charles Mantell, and two Gerald Mantells in the USA, and by her very special great-nephews, Greg, Michael, and Jonathan Bordan, as well as by all those who knew her. Thanks to the caring staff of 4N at Maimonides Geriatric Centre; and a very special "thank you" for the warmth and affection of her caregivers and companions, Connie, Kim, and Jan Alovera. Graveside service took place on Thursday, June 30 at Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
