Ruth Rosengarten Obituary
In Calgary, Alberta, on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, in her eighty-ninth year. Wife of the late George Rosengarten. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Albert and Barb of Calgary. Cherished grandmother of Benjamin Eric, Lisa Claire, Daniel Jonathan and Joshua Adam. Predeceased by her parents and five brothers who perished in the Holocaust. Ruth will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal, on Sunday, August 28 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva in Calgary, Alberta. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

Ruth was an amazing lady. As a table mate of my mother's at the Renoir, she was always with a smile and comment. She was so kind to our daughter Brooklyn and always had a hello for her and us. We missed her when she moved to the Beverly but were able to connect with her again there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Albert and the children and our thoughts and memories of Ruth will always be cherished.

Ruth was a very special lady. While I worked at the Renoir (for 8 years), I always enjoyed her grace and dignity. When we were doing the exercising, she was an inspiration to us all to keep going while we had fun. God Bless her family and friends.
