Judy STEIN KIRSTEIN Obituary
After a courageous battle, on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Beloved wife of Arthur Kirstein. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Barry Segal and Brooke Shulman. Cherished Grandma of Jacob and Natalie Segal. Sister and sister-in-law of Martin and Avrona Stein. Dear sister-in-law of Howard Kirstein, Arlyne and Dr. Howard Fenster, Debbie and Morrie Mauer, Jeffrey and Brenda Kirstein. Loving aunt of Alissa and David Train, Richard and Teresa Fenster, Jonathan, and Sabrina Fenster, Adam Ettinger, Brahm Mauer, Lauren Mauer and fiancé Jason Ehrlich, Bryan Zimmerman, Jason Kirstein, Jo-Anna Stein and Stephen Manz, Terri Stein and Paul Berry. Daughter of the late Sadie and the late Moe Stein. Judy will be greatly missed by her many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues. Special thanks to Dr. Mark Palayew and his team for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street W., on Friday, October 7 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri Street. Due to the advent of Yom Kippur, there will be no shiva. Contributions in Judy's memory may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada, (514) 861-4422, or to the Canadian Cancer Society, (514) 255-5151.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Arthur & Jeff & family. Even though I had not seen Judy for a long time, she will always be in my memory.

I am very sorry for your loss. She was too young. My mother Polly and Sadie were first cousins and I spent quite a bit of time with Judy during her teenage years. She was like another daughter to me.Unfortunately we lost touch with each other when I moved out west,though I thought about her often.

Beside being a very nice lady with great qualities of efficiency and enthusiasm, it was always a pleasure working with Judy. I will miss her.
