Dear Karen and Family,
I was so sorry to learn your father passed away last week. Please accept my mother's and my deepest sympathies. Your Dad was part of my childhood family memories, with your mother, and of course an important person later on as an adult. As we would meet periodically in Montreal, each visiting our aging parent, we shared the emotions of seeing them decline, yet wishing them to retain the dignity of their past. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
