Eric TOBIS Obituary
After a brief illness, on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Château Westmount retirement home. Beloved husband of the late Hedy. Devoted father of Vera and Michael, and father-in-law of Irene. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born in 1917, (originally named Imre Drechsler) in Hlohovec, Slovakia, he arrived in Canada in 1951 and was very successful in building a medical instrument importing business. His absence will be deeply felt. Special thanks to his patient caregiver of recent years, Svetlana Korolova. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva will be held at 6565 Rue Collins, #803, Cote St. Luc. Visitors welcome between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. daily.
