On Sunday, January 08, 2012. Daughter of the late Messody Elkouby and the late Haim Abehsera. Beloved wife of the late Roger Joseph Madar. Devoted mother and mother- in-law of Arlene and Henri Abitan, Herbert and Claudine Madar, Bernard and Anne Madar, Jean and Nancy Madar. Cherished grandmother of Judith Abitan, Ingrid and Ygal Benabou, Alexandre Abitan, Stacy and Jaclyn Madar, Amanda, Brittany and Matthew Madar, and Savannah Madar. Proud great- grandmother of Gabriella Simone Benabou. Sister-in-law of Teddy Madar, and aunt of Jennifer and Stephane Oehrli, Michelle and Joseph Léon. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, January 9 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva to be announced.
