Cecile DEVINE Obituary
Peacefully, in her one hundred and first year, on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Sidney. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Donald and Arlene. Cherished grandmother of Alanna and Oliver, Nathaniel and Alexis. The family would like to thank her exceptional caregiver, Lisa, as well as the caring staff of 3C at the Jewish Eldercare Centre. Graveside service on Sunday, January 22 at 10:00 am at the Chevra Kadisha B'nai Jacob Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, at the south-west corner of Sauvé and Berri streets. Shiva at 10 York, #202, Westmount until Tuesday evening. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Jewish Hospital of Hope Eldercare Foundation, (514) 738-4500, ext. 2124. Arrangements entrusted and Paperman & Sons.

Nycole and I just heard of your loss. We always held Auntie Cecile in a very special place in our hearts. We remember her as being caring, sincere and so very insightful. She truly left a positive mark on our lives.

Don I am touched that you took the time to reach me. You know how I felt about your mom. I was happy to be share her hundredth birthday and would love a copy of the picture you took. My memories with Cecile, and my mom as a little girl in your home in the sewing room looking threw all her lace and velvets! It was like a candy store for me. memories at the casino watching her so intense... cranking that lever with her white glove. I will cherish these times! your mom will forever have a piece of my heart. May God bless her. Love to all. Joy
