On Wednesday, January 25, 2012, in her ninety-eighth year. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Donna and Israel (Mutch) Yampolsky, Ruth Gerard, Barbara and Alan Zavalkoff. Cherished grandmother of Gerry and Michie Yampolsky, Marcia Yampolsky and Matthew Burnstein, Andrea Yampolsky and Alan Marshall, Lisa and Scott Crandall, Scott and Amy Gerard, Erin and Marc Babej, Samara and Mitch Shein. Adored great-grandmother of Yoni, Moria, Talia, and Eitan Yampolsky; Max and Beth Burnstein, Jessica, and Harry Marshall, Emily, and Lilly Crandall, Jaden Gerard, and Charlie Shein. Nana will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to her caregivers; Judith, Cecelia, Monica and Ester, as well as the nursing staff at the Castel Royale, and palliative care nurses Gilbert, Cathy and Carole for their devotion and compassionate care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, January 27, at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem section, de la Savane. Shiva at 6625 Mackle Road, # 1001, with the exception of Monday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 pm when Shiva will be held at the Castel Royale, 5740 Cavendish Blvd, # 1813.
