UROVITCH, Florence (nee Rudner). 1916-2005. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florence Rudner Urovitch on Monday, October 31st, 2005, at the Jewish General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Sol Urovitch. Cherished mother of Daniel (Deb Laskin), and Joseph (Maria Caporicci). Loving grandmother of Lori, Randee, David, Amanda, Stephen, Benjamin and Leanne. Great grandmother of Mitchell and Jacob. Predeceased by her brother Alex Rudner. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Emergency at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, November 2nd at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Temple Solomon Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lajeunesse St. Shiva at 5501 Adalbert #1018, Cote St. Luc., concluding Friday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Jewish General Emergency Care Unit c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.

Dear Daniel and Joseph, My deepest sympathy on the loss of your much loved mother. Florence was such a positive soul and her smile always lit up a room and she made everyone feel good. I met her a few years ago in Montreal and she was so proud to tell me about the family.
