Anne STARKE

STARKE, Anne (nee Deskin). After a long and fulfilling life, on June 11, 2004, in her ninety-third year, surrounded by her family. Devoted wife of the late Abe. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Hannah, Ralph and Vivian and Shelly and Ralph Brookman. Adored grandmother of Berton and Kim Starke, Lisa and Yaniv Elharrar, and Stephanie Brookman. Very special great-grandmother (Big-Ma) of Robyn, Alexandra and Ethan. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Archie and Riva Deskin, Mona and the late Sydney Deskin, Cecile and the late Harold Jackson, the late Mary and the late Ben Shapiro. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff at the Waldorf Seniors Residence for their exceptional care and devotion, as well as a special thank you to Ellen and Lynn.
