BERNAD, Irene (Epstein). Peacefully in Washington D.C. on Sunday, June 6, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Rezso Bernad. Loving mother of Peter (Virginia) of Washington, D.C. Cherished grandmother of Daniel, David, Jonathan. Predeceased by her dear sister Ilus (Helen) Varnai, and her brothers Arpi, who perished in the Holocaust, and Laci. Sister-in-law of Anci and Asher Roth and their children Dvorah and Chaim, Chaim Bernad and family of Israel. She will be sadly missed by Marta Bernad, Klarika, Tomi, her niece Judi, her brother-in-law Sanyi, her immediate family, Eva who has become part of the family and her remaining family in Hungary, Australia and England. Graveside Service on Tuesday, June 8 at 1 p.m. at the Congregation Adath Israel Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva in Washington.
