Ella TIGER

TIGER, Ella (nee Chananie). Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2003 in her ninety-seventh year at Hillel Lodge in Ottawa. Devoted wife of the late Sam Tiger of Montreal. Beloved mother of Michael Tiger and the late Debbie Levine and mother-in-law of Martin Levine. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan and Barbara Levine. Dearest sister of Ann Kane, the late Min Saginur, the late Rae Zuckerman, and the late William (Bill) Chananie. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and her friends. Special thanks to the staff at Hillel Lodge and at Maimonides Geriatric Hospital, and to her companions for the past seven years - Ida, Mirav, Margie, and Barbara. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Tuesday, October 14 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Due to the festival of Succot, Shiva commences in Montreal on Sunday evening October 19 at the Levine Home, 19 Church Hill, Westmount and continues in Ottawa on Thursday, October 23 thru Friday, October 24 at 16 Ralph Street.
