KAUFFMAN, Abie. As he lived, surrounded by his family and friends, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2003. Beloved husband and best friend of Sarah Goldfarb. Loving father and father-in-law of David and Frema, Irwin and Sheryl, Randy, and Jonny. Cherished Zaida of Robbie, Josh, Rebecca, Emma and Sammy. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ida and Hy Koch, Clara and the late Henry, Saul and Edna Goldfarb, Leo and Shirley Goldfarb, and predeceased by Nathan, Celia, Bertha, Collie, and Gordie. He will be remembered with love, laughter and a smiling face by his many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, family and dear friends. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, October 10 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Due to the advent of Succoth, Shiva ends Friday afternoon October 10. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. through Wednesday evening, October 15 at 5754 Blossom.
