DRAZEK, Matla (Manya Schindelman). On Sunday July 21, 2002. After a valiant battle, fought with great courage and dignity. Survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto. Predeceased by her entire family who perished in the Holocaust. Beloved wife of Samuel Drazek. Cherished mother of Helen (Philip Wajs). Adored grandmother of Richard Wajs (Marcy Frenkel) and Natalie Wajs (David Rashkovan). Proud great-grandmother of Jordan, Ryan and Trevor Wajs; and Brennan, Arielle and Jillian Rashkovan. The family wishes to express its gratitude to the administrators and staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre, and to her kind and devoted caregivers: Edith Cavinta, Merlyn Penaflor, Maggie Agtina and Inga Hunhold. Special thanks are extended to Elvira Rillon. Funeral service took place from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Synagogue Cemetery, De La Savane.
